Dr June Lou is Medical Director & Consultant Paediatrician at Ovspring Developmental Clinic, where she heads an multi-disciplinary medical and allied health team of speech language therapists, occupational therapists and psychologists.

Dr Lou, a graduate of the National University of Singapore, with a Masters of Medicine in Paediatrics, has over 35 years of experience in child health and development. Dr Lou is highly proficient in the areas of general childhood development and behaviour, asthma, allergies, immunizations, travel medicine for children. She is also a registered user of the gold standard Griffiths Developmental Scales for children in Singapore.

Dr Lou is also among the few clinicians in Singapore trained to administer the Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised (ADI-R). The ADI-R is a standardised, semi-structured diagnostic interview for use with the parents or caregivers of people with autism or Asperger's Disorder. Dr Lou has also attended training in the use of Autistic Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).

Dr Lou has served as Clinical Head and Senior Consultant at the department of Paediatrics at KK Women's & Children's Hospital (KKH), the largest medical facility in Singapore for specialized care for babies, children & women. Dr Lou was appointed Associate Professor at National University of Singapore from 2000 to 2004, and has presented widely in regional and international medical conferences.

Since leaving for private practice in 2004, Dr Lou continues to serve as Visiting Consultant at KK Hospital, and has extensive experience in serving both local and international families.

Dr Lou participates avidly in community projects and holds various positions as advisor to the Children's Cancer Foundation, Club Rainbow, and parents' support groups. Dr Lou lives in Singapore with her husband, her three grown up children and her pet dog, turtles and koi.
